TopMark Locates - About Us

TopMark Locates Inc. is located on the Crystal Coast in Newport, North Carolina. We are a SBE that is working hard to bring a great
source of quality, accuracy, competitive pricing, timely results, problem solving solutions and a clear understanding of what our
customers want. Our personnel have been in the industry for many years and have worked with engineers, surveyors, contractors,
environmentalists and government agencies. In that time we have learned what is needed to complete a successful project. Many times
we have seen substandard locating practices throughout the locating industry, which in turn has caused delays, damages and problems
for the people who rely on this information to do their work. TopMark Locates was formed to bring a higher level of service. In turn this
will give our customers what they have always been looking for in underground utility information, complete and accurate data they can
rely on.

Our Company's co-owner and lead locator, Mike Sanborn, comes with an extensive reputation and background in the underground
utility locating field. Mike has been in the industry for more then 22 years and will be leading our daily locating efforts. He began his
career in 1988 with One Call contract locating. In 1995, he began performing private underground utility locating services. In 2002, he
was hired by the Port of Portland, located in Portland, Oregon. Once there he became Head of the Utility Locating Department from
2002-2009. Some of Mike's responsibilities included training of personnel, quality control, complex and time sensitive projects, working
with construction, survey, environmental, GIS and all engineering disciplines. He was responsible for all underground utility infrastructure
at the Port of Portland facilities which included Portland International Airport (PDX), three general aviation airfields, five marine terminals
and land development areas. The projects Mike worked on during design and construction ranged from $1,000,000 to $500,000,000.

Mike's accomplishments are too long to list, but when it comes to damage prevention one thing is worth mentioning. He has not had a
damage due to a miss marked utility for 21 consecutive years! He takes his job very seriously and will be a great addition to anyone's
team. We are truly fortunate to have Mike Sanborn representing TopMark Locates.
